Lydia in kitchenBread baking is an ancient practice and Lydia and Kehewang do it ritually every morning in the coffee shop.  If you arrive early enough you can hear the soft whir of the mixer kneading the dough and then enjoy the yeasty aroma of the bread baking.  If you come for lunch, you’ll get to taste the finished product.

Mornings are busy inside the shop.  Lydia usually makes a dessert and options for lunch.  Kehewang concentrates on making mayo from scratch, or salad dressing, and our famous homemade lemonade and iced tea.  No day is the same as before, save for our daily bread baking, and that’s what makes life here vibrant and exciting.
